Jenny H. Conviser, Psy.D is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University and staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Conviser holds Certificates of Training in Behavioral Medicine from the University of Chicago, Family and Child Psychotherapy from The Family Institute of Northwestern University and Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP).
Dr. Conviser currently works with athletes, musicians, parents and coaches across the nation to assist them in achieving excellence in performance and competition. Dr. Conviser provided sport psychology services for United States Figure Skating National Champion Silver Medalist (2013), Gold Medalist (2014) and 2014 Sochi Olympian Gracie Gold. Dr. Conviser has annually conducted Mental Training for the United States Figure Skating Senior, Elite, individuals, pairs and dance national teams.

Sarah Halvorson, LMFT • Director of Clinical Services
Sarah Halvorson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, earning her Master’s Degree from North Dakota State University. Formerly, Ms. Halvorson served as Professional Consultant with the Dupage County Health Department specializing in crisis triage for families and adolescents requiring collaboration and advocacy with families, community resources and schools. In that role, Ms Halvorson led community advocacy services as the school liaison. Ms. Halvorson also directed the first Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program for Teens with Anorexia, Bulimia and Binge Eating on Chicago’s North Shore.
Currently, Ms. Halvorson provides psychotherapy and collaborative services for adolescents and young adults who struggle with eating disorders, trauma, life change and transition, coping with sports injury and mood related disorders. She enjoys working with families and couples and assisting them in identifying and mobilizing their individual strengths. Ms. Halvorson appreciates relational and systemic factors and their influence on the individual’s relationships and coping. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and a member of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) and the Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA).
Mike Milco, M. Div., LCSW, PhD • Staff Therapist
Mike Milco is a PhD in the School of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago. His dissertation topic focuses on the coping styles used by Angolan refugees. He received a Master of Social Work from Loyola University, a Master of Arts from Wheaton College and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Since 2005, he has been an associate professor at Moody Bible Institute in the Educational Ministries department. Michael teaches classes on counseling, theories of personality, social work practices, multicultural counseling and statistics. Formerly, Michael was in pastoral ministry for 22 years. For 13 of those years he was the pastor of families and small groups at the Moody Church.
Michael is known for his warm, engaging and relaxed approach to counseling. He is highly skilled in doing work in couples therapy. He has worked with adolescents and adults struggling with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and spiritual problems. He has experience in treating issues related to marital infidelity, men’s issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss.
He is the author of Ethical Dilemmas in Church Leadership along with other various publications.
He enjoys, reading, working on cars and continuing to improve the home he lives in.
Richard Jakubik, Fr./Dr. • Staff Therapist
Dr. Richard Jakubik earned his Master of Science in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He received a Master of Divinity degree from St. Mary of the Lake Seminary, is Catholic Priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Dr. Richard has served as a clinician and minister in the field of human services/mental health for the past 20 years. He has extensive education, training, and experience in providing therapeutic services to adolescents, adults and families of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Richard is known for his warm, engaging, and relaxed approach to counseling. He is highly skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based treatments. He has worked with adult and adolescent clients struggling with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and spiritual problems. Dr. Richard is experienced in treating a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, eating disorders, PTSD, and relationship and family concerns, while facilitating self-empowerment and holistic transformation.

Nicole Busch, MSW, LSW • Staff Therapist
Nicole Busch, MSW, LSW, is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She completed her Bachelor of Art’s Degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also completed her Master’s Degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Social Work.
She has volunteered and worked in various mental health agencies in the community. She specializes in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions and is trained in using DBT, CBT and ACT.
